Things Are Looking Up

I don't know if you've been obsessively checking the local statistics on Covid19, but things are actually getting better! After a year of relentless bad news, I'm starting to feel kind of optimistic about the way things are going. (See below!) At this point, I feel comfortable scheduling anyone who wants an appointment, if we can do it outside with masks on. If you are fully vaccinated (two weeks past your second dose) we can work inside. I'll still want to keep masks on, because the vaccine is not 100% effective and most people are not vaccinated yet. I just received my second dose of the vaccine on March 12. Two weeks after that (March 28), we can work inside regardless of your vaccine status. If you want to schedule an appointment, please get in touch. If you are being more cautious, I totally support you in that. We're all just trying to get through this. Now here's why I'm feeling optimistic:

The number of new covid cases in LA County is back down to where it was before the holidays.

Our ICUs are only 75% full, instead of overflowing.

More people are getting vaccinated every day and it's looking like vaccinated people are much less likely to spread the virus.

We're not out of the woods yet, but things are so much better than they were a couple months ago. I hope you're feeling good and staying safe.
